New Community Choir

If any of you are a fan of Christmas films then you will know that according to Buddy the Elf, "the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!"

People have known for a long time that a good sing a long is good for the soul, whether it's round a piano, at the kareoke, in the car or at the football stands. Scientific research would also agree with the idea that singing can potentially boost physical and mental health. Lifting your voice in song, especially as a group, gives a sense of belonging and enhances your mood  by releasing a rush of feel good hormones, endorphins and oxytocin.

The great news is The Clock is starting our own Community Choir, which will be run by Paula Odell, a highly skilled singing teacher.

This a pilot project and will run initially for 8 weeks. Paula will be with us from 25th April and will be ready to help us warm up our vocal chords from 11-12 every Thursday.

NO EXPERIENCE OR SINGING ABILITY IS REQUIRED! This is a project for everyone and is aimed at those wanting to meet others and have fun. If you are interested in coming, please contact The Clock and let us know for numbers.
