Key Worker (17-20 hours per week) Salary: £17972 - £23111 pro rata (depending on experience and qualifications)
The Clock delivers programmes to young people and adults in Hambleton. The Clock is one of a number of partners delivering the Action Towards Inclusion programme. The Key Worker will provide one to one support to the most disadvantaged adults who are furthest away from the labour market and who experience significant barriers to work by supporting the individual to address barriers to work and improving financial skills. The Key Worker will complete initial assessments, create action plans, deliver support and make appropriate referrals to ensure that the individual achieves their goals. This post is funded until September 2019 and based in Thirsk.
Volunteer Co-ordinator (12-15 hours per week) Salary: £21000 - £23000 pro rata
The Clock wants to engage more people in volunteering in the organisation; both delivering services and behind the scenes. The Co-ordinator will design, develop and coordinate The Clock’s volunteering programme, which will involve volunteers delivering on a range The Clock’s services. This role will recruit, train, support and supervise volunteers in a variety of roles across the organisation. Additionally, the Volunteer Coordinator will liaise with external organisations to promote The Clock’s volunteering opportunities.This post is initially funded for one year by Awards for All.
Tutors (various hours per week) Hourly Rate £12.37 – £14.63 (accredited learning) £9.50 – £11.98 (non-accredited learning)
The Clock employs tutors on an hourly paid basis. Potential tutors will be interviewed and if accepted, placed in an tutor pool, so they are ready to teach on both existing and new courses. We are very interested to hear from you if you are flexible, enjoy working with people and have the qualifications and experience to teach adults and young people (including vulnerable adults and young people) on both existing and new courses. We are particularly interested in tutors to teach: Maths, English, Employability, ICT.
Youth Support Worker (various hours per week) Hourly Rate £9.50 – £11.98
The Clock delivers weekly youth club sessions to children and young people in Thirsk, Northallerton and Stokesley. It also delivers a range of short projects. Potential youth support workers will be interviewed and if accepted, placed in a support worker pool, so they are ready to deliver on both existing and new programmes. We are very interested to hear from you if you are flexible and enjoy working with people We are looking for people to work with existing team members to deliver high quality youth work sessions for children and young people.
