We are currently inviting applications for the posts of  Business Development Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator.

 

Business Development Manager (18-21 hours per week) Salary: £27000 - £30000 pro rata

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established award winning organisation as Business Development Manager. This is a new role, reporting to the Chief Executive, and will take the lead on all of the charity's income generating activities. You will be joining the charity at an exciting time, and you will play a key role in helping to move the organisation on to the next stage of its development.

We want a talented team member with proven fundraising experience, able to provoke discussion and challenge thinking. The Clock’s Board of Trustees have recently created a trading arm called ‘Clock Works’. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the successful management of Clock Works. There are two specific roles:

•           Designing and implementing Social Enterprises

•           Securing funding for and the development of a new building

This post is funded for 3 years by Tudor Trust

 

Volunteer Co-ordinator  (12 –15 hours per week) Salary: £21000 - £23000 pro rata

Are you a well organised and adaptable individual, committed to working with volunteers? Do you want to help The Clock deliver its services?  Using your excellent skills and expertise of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers, you will have the responsibility for coordinating a volunteer-led peer mentoring intervention package, from its early stages of development, through to its implementation and evaluation. 

With experience of working with supporting volunteers, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people, drawing on strong interpersonal skills. You will be well organised, with the ability to manage your daily administrative workload and a flexible approach to work.

This post is funded for one year by Awards for All

Candidates should be self directed but able to follow instructions working as part of a multi disciplinary team. You will be an excellent communicator, competent in the use of ICT and keen to continue to develop skills, knowledge and experience to improve the quality of services delivered by you and your team. The ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is essential./ An enhanced DBS check and two references will also be required.
